The project included design, manufacture, supply and installation of GRP pipes and associated fittings for seawater intake and return systems in Khalifa Port and Industrial Zone (KPIZ).

The main items of work comprised:
Civil and Concrete Works; including ground improvement by vibro-compaction, earthworks, site preparation, dewatering, construction of thrust blocks, roadway crossing structure, protection slab for rail crossing, etc.
Mechanical Works; including 3m dia. penstock gates, 1.7m & 2.6m dia. butterfly valves, 100mm dia. air release valves, hand rails, ladders, steel platform for basin, etc.
