The project included supply and construction of an artificial island 175n.m. from the coast in order to facilitate all the necessary utilities for subsequent oil drilling activities.
The main items of work comprised:
Transportation, stockpiling, spreading, leveling and trimming of total 900,000 tons of rocks.
Construction of the main island and its rock armour and underwater berms for sinkable drill utilities support.
Sheet piling works with a total length of 2,500 l.m. with all the fittings and accessories.
