The project includes the extension of Container Terminal 2 at Jebel Ali Port. Works will provide additional berth for vessels and will increase the capacity of Terminal by about 1 million TEUs.

The main items of work comprise:
Construction of 400m long concrete block quay wall along with associated dredging and marine accessories.
Reclamation of container terminal together with the associated paving works.
Installation of crane rails together with foundation works.
Utilities and services include potable and storm water services, street lighting, civil works for HV, LV and telecommunication systems.
