U.A.E. — Dubai — Jebel Ali : Quaywall Deepening for Berths 44-48

The project included designing and construction for the deepening of a 950 m long existing concrete quay wall and the construction of a new paved cargo yard.

The main items of work comprised:
389 No.’s Steel Piles 1.0 m dia, supported by steel tie rods 35m long
Reinforced concrete cope beam with quay furniture (Fenders, Ladders and Bollards).
Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System for the steel piles.
Apron area of 25,000 m2 of interlocking block pavement.
Asphalt-Paved yard area 125,000 m2
20 No’s High Masts, 30 m high
Single Story Yard Office Buildings (3 No’s).
Fresh Water and Fire Water Lines.
Low Voltage power / lighting /earthing networks
