U.A.E. — Abu Dhabi — Mirfa: S/C for Linde Seawater and Intake/Outfall System

The project included the detailed engineering, procurement and construction of the Seawater Intake and Outfall system for the Elixier 2 Air Separation Plant for Nitrogen Generation at Mirfa, Abu Dhabi.

The main items of work comprised:
Detail engineering, material supply and construction of civil works for intake and outfall structures
Construction of pump area slabs and a substation building at intake.
Detail engineering, material supply & installation for HDPE pipes of 800mm dia and 900mm dia for seawater intake and outfall piping
Supply HVAC & minor electrical & instrumentation erection material.
Installation of all equipment supplied by Main Contractor.
Construction of entire scope for Electrical and Instrumentation.
Intake caisson incl. suction filters with access bridge
SW Substation incl. HVAC and pump area included Chlorination Unit with tank, Tapis backflash system, Vacuum Unit, Valves, Pumps, Debris-Filters
SW intake and outfall pipeline : Supply and Installation of Intake pipe of 800mm dia HDPE pipe of 4600meter length and outfall pipe of 900mm dia HDPE pipe of 2800meter length,
SW outfall diffuser
Interconnecting piping
Installation GRP pipes including lamination (materials issued by client free of cost)
Equipment erection (Pumps, chlorination units, debris filter, tapis filter and Vacuum unit)
Associated civil works (roads included)
Associated instrumentation and electrical works
Associated steel structure works

Intake pipes : HDPE DN 800mm PE 100 SDR 21 : 4500 meters
Outfall Pipes : HDPE DN 900mm PE 100 SDR 21 : 2950 meters
